REVISION OF PENSION BY SBI
984. SHRI BHARTRUHARI MAHTAB:
Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:
(a) whether the State Bank of India Centralised Pension Processing Centre (CPPC), Bhubaneswar has revised pension of all the pensioners as per the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC);
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government has received complaints against the said Centre for not revising pension of pensioners since implementation of the 7th CPC in the country;
(d) if so, the details thereof along with the action taken/being taken by the Government on such complaints so far; and
(e) the other steps taken/being taken by the Government to ensure that the said Centre revise pension of all the pensioners according to the recommendations of the 7th CPC?

(a) and (b): Yes, Sir. Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) has informed that as far as Central Civil Pensioners are concerned, State Bank of India (SBI) Centralised Pension Processing Centre (CPPC), Bhubaneswar has revised pension of all the eligible pensioners under 7th Central Pay Commission.
(c) and (d): Yes, Sir. Two complaints were received in CPAO pertaining to SBI, CPPC, Bhubaneswar for not revising the pension and payment of arrears as per 7th CPC and these complaints have since been resolved.
(e): The implementation of revised pension is monitored by Corporate Office, SBI and is being reported to CPAO through Pension Payment Scrolls.
